Hello guys,
I just want to clarify this because we had a lot of customers asking us question and wondering why BEST is using the name THRUSTER for their new surf board. Since ECLIPSE has been using it for their kites since a year and half ago.
Well the answer is easy. They are totally 2 different product. One is the KITE which is the ECLIPSE KITES and the other one is their board Best surf board. But I wish they would not use that name since we had it first. This complicates things for the consumers.
This is just my thoughts.

Not to be a jerk, but hasn't the term "thruster" been used in regards to surfboards for over a decade and a half now? It refers to the three fin setup which came out in '81. I can understand your frustration with confused customers, but its almost like using the word "twin tip" in kiteboarding, or "fish" in surfing.

The term Thruster describes the boards fin set up and thats it... about 90% of the boards on the market have a thruster fin set up so IMO no need to remind the customers of this in the products name, unless of course BEST cant think of something better to name the product.

One Thruster is a high quality piece of well designed kitesurf equipment and the other is a board.
