Yes I did and almost died because my kite disappear on the other side of one of these big waves and then got eaten. I was at least 900 yards out to see. List my board but hang on to my kite for dear life. I almost got drawn. I got tumbled by at least 6 big waves, but then got eaten by at least 20 waves. Not only that the the water was very very cold. That was the closest I have come to near death experience. It took me 45 minutes to get back to the beach. Nothing happened to the kite. I was amazed. One of the lines broke only.

Glad to hear you're ok. Just goes to show how things can happen fast.
Maybe you should fly better kites?

Yes that is True. And this is only the first breakers that you see far away. You had to past 1 more after that and then you had these big giant waves. Unreal surfing, until ....... well you know the rest.

Dimitri you get a point for finding that pic so quick!
Anyway, back on topic. Here's all the info you should need on the Ion3.

the info is actually lacking considering that they do not mention the addition of a spinning chicken loop this year!
