I've got one on order, I took JohnZ up on his offer that if I didn't like it I could return it. I haven't ridden that many board recently, but I know I need something more chop and wave oriented than my CrazyFly AllAround so I thought I'd see if the reviews are right.

I let my buddy Doug take my mako wide for a spin last weekend,
and took a couple shots of him just tearing it up.
He loved how easy it was to adapt to this platform and collect some real power and speed from the kites traction.
He called it the secret weapon!
You guys are gonna dig this board!

O R kites I can find in the UK.
So are there any Mako Wides in stock in the UK?
What is the price?
Every other make of board seems to be easier to locate and buy. O R list a series of retailers, only one of which seems to have any O R boards.
Maybe O R need to change their sales policy on the boards?

I ordered one a week or so ago. Just spoke with JohnZ and mine should be shiipping tomorrow. I suspect that there are several riders / dealers that have been waiting also and who should be getting theirs soon...

Due to the fantastic demand for Wides from all of you (thank you
) we have been backordered on Wides for a couple of weeks. We have just received a large shipment and will begin the process of filling and shipping the pile of existing orders this week. Shipping priority is based on order date, so bug your dealers to be on their game.....
In response to Ronnie, our sales policy is to ship whatever/whenever our dealers request. If you are not satisfied with your local shops I suggest you let them know and give them a chance...failing that, there are plenty of options to shop around.
Believe me, this board will have been worth waiting for!
Cheers,
Evan

If they are not readily available, I do not see that as my problem. As you say there are plenty of good competitors.
Airush Hammer, RRD Venom etc.
