aboards x131 wakestyle

Postby pch » Tue Apr 01, 2008 3:54 pm

at last i have bought a good kiteboard for wakestyle. my final choice went for aboards x131 board compatible
with wake bindings. the board has extra insert positions. and i can tell that board is hell good. did some nice
raley hp and loops on kite and also went to cable park to smooth my
rolls to revert.

i think because of narrowed tips and effect of wake
bindings allows to edge for pop much more aggressively. since the board is
kiteboard and is thinner and slightly softer also saves a good deal
of load from knees at landings.

from what i felt in cable park i can easily go without fins for.
with the booties the board is well controllable.

can recommend this board for every wake oriented kiter.

"compatible with wake bindings" are u saying u got a customized board to suit the bindings or the board happened to fit your bindings...
Im gettin a sweet free pair of LF escalades through sponsership deal u reckon they will fit the Xseries with the current screw wholes or did u have to customize the boots?

And was the 131 a good size cause thats what i currently freestyle on but i was thinking of going bigger board (134) for wake as i get the boards through the sponsership too!!

Depends on your weight/height.

I ride a little bigger, or at least wider board with boots than I did with straps.

At 180cm 80kg I'm dialed on a 135x41 w/ boots.

Tried a lot of boards to get it right.

i was looking for a board that can accommodate wake bindings
i am not sure about other models but my aboards x series has dedicated screw positions added on board for wake
it has also other screw positions to accomodate usual kite straps
