Hi guys.
I received my X2 14 and 10. Both have the same bar length, and the shop said they only received one size of bars to date.
I am slightly concerned that the bar will be too long for the 10. And with it being out of Carbon, it is probably not possible to shorten it.
Feedback appreciated,
Nico

I ride the 10 with a 60 cm bar, no problem, lots of fun.

Toby, what would you consider the upper end of the wind range for the X2? I'm still not sure about my X2 sizes.

Nico: did you get the bar with quick release?

Yep, although I am not 100% sure about how to reassemble it. I think I got it, though.

Nico, try to look up Naish's website. Maybe you will find something there.
The ge distributor is working on a website with all important infos on how to trim, modify and setup Naish products.

Robin, the X2 has more power than the ARX, so X2 10 for me, 87 kg, 144 board, high end is about gusts to almost 7 Bft, but then you will flyyyyyyyyy.

We received X2's in the following sizes 12,14,16,18,20 and there are only two bar lenghts 60 & 65 cm.

My 20 has the 65cm and the 14 the 60cm.

There seem to be strange deliveries. In other countries, they have shorter bars, too. I flew my Airblast 8.4 with 45 cm, so I will try to get a shorter bar for the 10 - I hate when fast kites have long bars

A lot of kite designers are now saying that a bar should be the width of your shoulders, regardless of the kite size. I have always used the one bar (60cm) with all my Naish kites from 7.5-14. It works fine. I have tried a smaller bar, and while it did sloww the smaller kites a little, I think it feels awkward having your hands too close together. You can feel restricted, and it can be harder work on your arms with your arms together.

This is a personaly choice thing - but I wouldn't be concerned about Naish bars being the one size. They have always been that way.
