Looking for a seat harness that is comfortable, won't ride up, and does not create any sore sports. I realize that tow-surfing will be difficult with a seat, but I still like them much better than waists since the pull is through your body's center of gravity.
I tired the Pro-Seat harness by Cabrinha, but it tends to ride up.
Also tried Dakine XT seat - much more comfortable, and does not ride up, but tightens around your hips and also after a few minutes creates a sore spot right below you butt on both legs, right at the edge of the harness.
A friend recommended Mystic Shield seat harness - considering trying it as well as Dakine Fusion.
Has any one tried any of the above? Any other suggestions? Basically looking for the most comfortable seat harness out there.
Thanks!

Also check out the North Sofa Surfer harness. It's more of a waist harness w/ a seat built in. I've been impressed with this seat. Very comfortable. It has an air valve on the back of the harness to give better lumbar support if needed, easy spreader bar release and spreader bar pad, and a handle-pass leash ring. Worth looking at.

I'm pretty happy with my mystic forceshield, it's been comfy on the couple of long downwinders I've done and it's not bad just crusing around ith either, no hot spots (over boardshorts/rashie), that said, it's the only sit harness I've really used and I'd rather be in my firestarter (waist) for 99%of the riding I do.

I also have a Mystic Forceshield and agree it is a great seat harness. Also remember that Mystic has one of the best hook knives on the market and this is integrated in a pocket right by your hip on the Forceshield. I am not sure that many other harnesses have an integrated hidden pocket for a hook knife. You never know when you will need one!

Noel mentions the North Sofa Surfer.
I changed to this from a Fusion and find it very good. Allows full waist movement.
All the benefits of a waist harness without the downsides. The nappy bit is barely noticable when in action, but even when it all goes wrong keeps the hook in place.
Seems well made, my only complaint is the lack of somewhere to stow a knife.
