my girlfriend is from toledo, ohio so i am there a couple times a year between the gorge and capecod...
I have windsurfed in the region a couple of times, and it was pretty good...now we are driving back this week and I am headed on kitetour usa...and yes erie is on the list...
in toledo, where the river lets out into lake erie on the east side there is a state park, brown water, but good west winds, shallow, windsurfers...i plan on kiting there
GO North of Erie, PA, a few miles west of I90
there is a two lane HWY that follows the lake, wind is very consistent in summer, there are a number of beaches, ive windsurfed here as well, pretty good, but why all the dead fish???
