here's what i heard:

12.2 cabrinha 2001:

-slow kite, more wakeboard style.
-some seams in the LE were stiched bad so the bladders didn't last long...

Hi Begle,
I own the whole range of cabrinha BT 2001 and would not replace them for any other brand.
Aside from the initial bladder problems , which have in the meantime been resolved, the kites work real good for me. I am sure that the 2002 anb soon to be 2003 will be even better, but i cannot fault the 2001 models and am still using them until I get a newer quiver.
Sure the bigger sizes are slower in nanouevres, but 1/2 an hour of navigation is enough to forget the difference and to sail without hassles.
In summer I have often used the 15,5 BT and am still on the water when everyone else is one the beach drooling.
Hope you can use this info.
Regards.
Nico

...from the past:

phpBB/viewtopic.php?topic=220&forum=1

I am still riding the same kite this season. I made improvement mentioned in discussions above and found them reasonable - manouverity of kite improved tremendously.
But I had a problems with bladders, I twice was forced to wait for new ones due to manufacturing feilures...and it is annoying. If You get this kite for cheap price, take it but check for bloody bladders, are they latest?.
...in the end there are much better kites around anyway.

These kites are slow, bladders break all the time. Upwind and jumping they are pretty good, but these kites will sometimes overfly and fall out of the sky.

Find something better

Bladders suck and are constantly a problem. Also agree with the overflying problem.

Got all the range of bt 2001 and never had trouble with overflying ....
They are not so quick in turning compares to 2002 range but everything else is ok
Someone can't kite very well and ...it is always because of the kite...eh eh

At our beach we have a lot of kites flying.
The only kite that is constant overflying is the Cabrina kites. And I don't think it's because of bad riders.
