I would like to build a plywood copy of the nobile Skim for those lightwind days. Can someone tell how the rocker is shaped on a Nobile Skim? Does it have rocker in the tail, and if, how much. Does it have a rocker in the nose, and if, how much??
Thanks in advance!!

It does have nose rocker. I did the same, made a plywood copy. Used 1" of nose rocker and the back 2/3 of the board is dead flat. Some skims have tail rocker, don't think I saw any on the Nobile. Might want to confirm with someone else. Anyone?

I haven't seen any rocker in the tail but i would need to put it on a flat table to be a 100% sure.
looked flat though

Thanks all.
I made up a rocker myself. About 1 cm in the tail, and about 4 in the nose.

I made mine front rocker 7 cm and tail 1cm (without a lot of thinking/copy of pictures found on net). due to this exaggeration=I wouldn't call mine exactly a low wind board. Until the wind picks up i also have some problems gainning hight when riding it backwards!

would go with 4cm (maybe 4,5) nose and 1cm tail nexttime.

Really Impressive work Teff!!
What are the different steps you would advice to take to built your skim?
Layers, shape, wood style, quality, glue etc...

Don't know. The PDF file is at 100% of the size. Don't scale it, just hit the print button I guess??
