Is there any tips or tricks to sew the covers on the lines to make the loops for the larks head? or just fold the cover in half and use a zig-zag stich up the length of it.

Tolios, The 303 products are good. I've been using the 303 aerospace protectant: http://www.303products.com/tech/index.c ... N=81947885 I spray it on my kites about every six months. Most of my kites are 2005 and still going strong. I started using the 303 products after reading about it in a kite mag article. @humandrive, you have the idea. Just make sure your zigs are going through the kiteline. I like to use the short zig-zag stitch, where there are a couple stitches in each zig (that stitch came with my Brother sewing machine).

The protectant is great stuff for the car dash, door, etc. can't say about on a kite
If you get the "Fabric Guard" PLEASE try it on something other than your kite first. I used it on my rag top and wished I never had. Once it's on there your stuck with it.

Wow - what a pimp. Seven posts since you've been here and six of them contain links to your kitesurfing business. I guess is beats paying for ads.

i ll try tha fabric guard on my sw and i ll let you know soon of the results. i take care of my kite a lot but if there is something that will expand the life of the fragile ripstop fabric i think is worth the try.
