Core Kite Combat GT

Postby Goddy » Wed Aug 27, 2008 12:42 pm

For those who know the brand CARVED and its Subbrand Core Kites it might be interesting to know that they have launched a new modell called Core Combat GT.

It seems to be a nice mix from all the well known concepts bow, delta shape and c-kite.

It has a bow typical leading edge, deep hanging tipps and at all a light delta shape.

In Germany CORE is known as a very high quality premium brand allways reacting on the newest developments.

But see yourself:

I am looking forward to test it soon.

Hi Martin
How GT different from "just Combat"? On the picture both look the same.

Core meanwhile has 3 models.

Riot came out early 2007 and is a 100% bow shape with nice freestyle capabilities.

The Combat came out this spring and is a very nice delta shape with the characteristic holding forces.

The combat GT eliminates them mostly but has not a deep shape like a delta. It has also deep drawn tips like a c-shape.

I will post a test report when I got my first 12 m².

Hello

Not sure what You mean PKPC08 about the bar...
From my side I can tell that CORE bar is one of the safest bar systems on the market.
Everything works perfect !!!

No doubt. Would like to try their new carbon imperator III board soon :thumb:

There isn't one single gimmick on this bar. Everything has its purpose and once you used it you wouldn't want to go without it anymore.
We sell Core/Carved amongst many other brands in our shop and the Core/Carved bars are absolutely fantastic. The new Flysurfer bar took a big leaf out of Core/Carved book and is also great. Honestly looking at the Core/Carved bar it might at first glance look slightly confusing but it is ten times less cluttered and way more functional than either the North or Slingshot units.
Seriously the Bar on the Core/Carved kites do the business like no other bar does. Everybody who tries them comes of the water and says to me, "Every brand should make their bars like this, especially the unswivelling part".
Anyway enough of the praise, try it and then comment.
