Hi Everyone -- just landed in Barcelona and am looking for people to go kitesurfing with! I'm quit a newbee at kiting and manage to do some up & downwind sailing but need to practice lots

I am about to move to barcelona, very keen to kite, just worried about the beaches where it is banned. have you found a good crowd and some spots?

many spots and kiters than you may guess, but you have to know how to forecast windy days and also to know when it is blowing...
talk with Gordon Welsh at www.buscaviento.com ..... he has a 10 euro/month instant wind measurement online on your mobile for the top spots in the area... it's worth to pay it !
