a bit unfair to ban a popular forum poster for stickin a few between the ribs,of this sites authoritanians,which lets face it is usually deserved. jeez this whole sport is participated in, by lifes mavericks.banter between us should be encouraged not denied.

If fo is breaking the rules here set by Toby then goodbye, banned and off the forum. By the same breath if Rickl is breaking the rules then goodbye to him as well. It is not easy moderating a forum, and the problem with some members is they get too comfortable and start acting like their opinion is more worthy then others. It simply isn't. Just because you have 500 posts makes your opinion no more worthy then someone with 5 posts.

Remember you have no right to an account here, you have no right to free speech here. Kiteforum is a completely opt-in system whereby you agreed to the rules of this website when you signed up. Nobody forced you to join, nobody held a gun to your head to join, you opted to join this website. There is no "democracy" in these decisions, you simply abide by the guidelines here or find another website to use.

Either way moderating topics and website operating decisions should not be an item of public discussion. Topics like this serve no purpose but those with more time then brains on their hands to create a song and dance. It's much easier to tear something down then build it up.

I don't beleive that. RickI and myself have talked about the issue and RickI was never too worried about Fo.
Fo was his own worst enemy, got a littel bit overconfident and egotistical about his self perceived "status" on here. (and other forums, under many aliases)
Sometimes he made sense, often what little sense he made was detroyed or lost in babble that he thought was smart or intelligent, but that came across as either madness or personal abuse.
He got banned the first time for personal abuse and my guess is the leopard never changed.
Maybe RickI can post his extremely and informative threads without them being a magnet for Fogibberish and abuse now?

Anyway, remember its a forum, and all of it is typed symbols, and mostly the silly stuff is pretty obvious and easy to ignore.

Forums need members. Without members a forum can't exist, so I think your view is a bit off the mark.

As for free speech isn't that what every one is entitled to ?

I am sure Fo just likes to wind people up to see if they will take the bait or not, and you could argue that is his right to free speech.

When you see the negative personal attacks in politics etc these days , I think some folks on this forum are a little precious and need to harden up a bit, then they wouldn't wouldn't be such an easy target for the likes of Fo when he is fishing for bites.

IMO like I said on page 2 of this post , brand pimps pedaling bias information and sledging other brands under an alias, is more concern than the likes of FO trying to engage people in a game of word chess.

Remember we all have the option of ignoring the likes of Fo if he's being a bit anal. If you don't like what he says you don't have to engage in the thread.

Fo was cool, probably a little in over his head. Problem was RickL and co wouldn't give up and Fo would just enjoy it, leading to massive pointless threads that nobody but then would ever fully read but them. Bring him back on the condition that he stops all the pimping. If any one can do it its affflatus or Fo or whatever he is.
