how much difference is there between low cut sandals with heel support (like the cabrinha sandal or the pro limits)
and a 'real' high cut wakeboard binding?

did anyone try both and can tell?

well .. i was always thinking sandals (with heels) are crap, because you have the worst of two worlds (harder to get in and out but not the support and edging ability of a high cut)

is that right?

i'm have the prolimit sandels on my cabrina spoiler 150.
It works wel, and when its time for burn out, you don't have to worry about anything, your wil get free of your board.

There also nice by big air landings, because there very soft, handy when you over jump en land on the beats.

I think low cut sandals will go away. The anti-bindings by NSI and slingshot work as well. Full high bindings add ankle stiffness which adds edging power. That's where bindings have an advantage. Setting the edge riding very powered. I can jump higher in high bindings because I can set my edge for that brief second before lift off when straps won't let me.

i also have the impression that riding high bindings makes you go much easier when well powered, because you don't push the edge into the water - it'S more like twisting it in.
