I fly the X2 8.0 and I have a lot of fun with it. Good lift and hangtime. Great the options different trims.
Actually I don't know if the ST has these options.
The X2 looks very strong build and it makes fun flying it.
If the ST is 20% more expensive, get the X2 and safe the 20% for another kite.
The ST won't be better than the X2 to justify the 20% more.

Let us know about your decision!

Toby, how does the X2-8 compare to the AR-X 7.5 or AR5-7.5?

Do you have any information about the availability of the bigger sizes?

Thanks,
Robin

the X2 8.0 has poweer like an ARX 9.5.
It jumps higher and has a longer hangtime than the ARX 7.5
I didn't try all trim options yet, but with the one I used teh X2 was slower than the ARX. But I have to test more.
Bigger sizes maybe next week.

Toby, in which conditions did you use the 8.0?

Hope that Germany gets bigger X2s this time

I used it in winds of 5.5-7 Bft, but could handle more, maybe up to 8 in gusts.
Have to fly it more times to say it exactly.
