OR Mako board and apple users.

The OR Mako board is just like an apple computer: it's a product used by a minority who can't even imagine going back to the common solution.

I use the mako as well as other boards that are more mainstream and I like both. The mako is a unique board. Actually I have a mac and windows at work as well (I like windows better).

So what does that mean? Nothing. And you post probably means nothing as well :)

ok. Regarding the Mako, it was probably an exageration of my part. Of course i like other boards. Of course i'm gonna use other boards in the years to come. But IF i was to be dropped in a desert island for the rest of my days and could bring a single board, i would bring a MAKO (what would you bring?)

Regarding the Apple computers... some things in life must be tried properly. Do you OWN a Mac? Of course you're not going to choose a Mac if you don't tried it enough. In case you REALLY know what you're talking about :o ... well, i'm surprised! Sounds like the guy i met last week who claimed to be an ex-gay.

PS:. Don't reply to a post that means nothing. It will only attract more people to it. :D

And exactly which MAKO would you be taking to that island as your "one" board ?
The 150 wide or the 140 wide ?
Thanks

used to work in the IT... strange comparison.. I prefer the Mako.. Mac ? Pc? who cares,, Ride!!

Had a Mako Wide 150, now a 140.
Both great boards, one board solution for all water conditions is definatly the 140.

Arjan

The 150 wide is a very very good board for the ocean. Excellent TT in the waves that carves like no other TT. Very very confortable. Not a lightwind board though.

And I wish vista was stable

ok. I would bring the 150 to the island. But if you're not going to the island, the 140 may be a great choice! (depends on your weight)
