Wainman Hawaii Blunts (Photo's)

Postby Rossall » Mon Feb 16, 2009 6:31 pm

The 125 and 135 have just landed on the doorstep and well to say I am impressed is an under statement, just need a bit of wind now. Managed to get a under powered 12 mtr sess yesterday but wind coming for the end of the week.

look nice, but thats all aesthetics. How about the rocker line, the bottom shape, the rail.. or any other aspect that hints at how it rides.

Yeah quiet stiff compared to my previous boards (Skywalker) so should produce nice pop after load up.

Concave : about 6 mm of concave running in the mid section of the board running out to the tips.

Rails : Very thin, I had heard they really fly upwind and this would be the reason.

Deck : Domed ??? feels great under foot and very cushy

Weight : VER VERY VERY Light, not had it on the scales yet but feather weight.

Bag : Free board cover, very nice touch, oh also little bags for spares as well.

Fins : G10 6 cm

Straps/Pads : high quality well made and comfortable.

Tips : Shark Teeth effect, why ??? because Lou liked the idea, enouth said.

As i said only had a short sess at the weekend as the weather has been pants over here but looking good for sat/sun so give you a full run down soon.
