Yeah how would you replace that when it wears out. Get a new kite I guess

Has anybody seen tested those kites? I mean independent from the company.

Ok so here are my thoughts on the 2008 latitude glider 10m. It is basically a sof-x kite that latitude bought and slapped their name on. The kite is nice its fast, smooth power, good bar pleasure lots of tuning options and big wind range. Reminds me of a low aspect Best nimi. Here is the bad. The leash line breaks after about 6 hours of riding. On the web site the bar has been up graded with PU tube wrapped around the leash line this makes it so it can’t ware out. I asked latitude if they could send me a the new PU tube leash since my leash broke so quick and they said they would that was 2 months ago haven’t heard from them since. It’s really not that bad though I went to west marine and got 3 ft of line for $3 ghetto rigged it and it looks like my new leash line will last a lot longer. The owner of latitude has no clue about kiteboarding she told me “it is recommended to ride without the leash so when you let go of the kite it will just fly away from you.” I said yea hopefully it will just fly away into a tree instead of having the lines rap around some kid on the beach. She is probably just a cool mom that got convinced by her 19 year old wankster kid to buy out this sof-x company. I would be very surprised if latitude comes out with a kite after the2009 prelude. But for now they are the best deals kiteboarding has ever seen. I have been into this sport since 2001.
