Are you sure that you get a tax deduction?

This is from their web site on 2/24/9:
"DONATING TO KITECYCLE

Ultimately, the Kitecycle program will be a non-profit organization offering tax deduction opportunities to individuals donating kites. Currently, our non-profit status is pending and we expect to have full and complete review in the next quarter. We are not able to issue donation receipts until our official tax exempt designation has been issued.

However, if you are eager to dispose of unwanted kites at this time, Kitecycle will accept kite bars, kite bags and kites in any condition.

Kitecycle is also accepting donations of sewing materials, thread, snaps, zippers, sewing scissors and functional sewing machines. Capital donations to help defray the costs of production and administrative fees will be gratefully accepted.

Feel free to subscribe to the Kitecycle newsletter for information on our tax exempt status."

If your post, and its title, is inaccurate, perhaps you should change it so you don't mislead people.

hi Richard,

Yes I'm positive that kitcycle.org is now a non profit. Lydia just hasn't gotten around to changing her website yet.. the status just came down two weeks ago:)
