ever thought of jumping from the cliffs with a kite?
ok, just a joke, don't try this..
No problems if you go out on a boat?
Do you inflate all tubes on land and then you go?.
Isn't there one poor guy who has to stay on the boat all the time?

nocliffkitingtuxli
we inflate only the little tubes (quertubes
) on land and the big tube in the boat. then someone hold the kite while the kiter release the lines (swimming in the water) and then starting the kite is like on land. but ist nothing for beginners!!! there are to much dangerous things that could happen and this need some experiance. for intermediate kiters it's ok.
but this was the best day of my kite-life
especially with the 2 deadmans *lol* but you can only see the landing on pic 57
hehe

Hello Tuxli,
Thanks for sending along the nice photos. I have yet to see Switzerland outside of winter. I am impressed that you are out there in a short wetsuit. It does look like a technical launch and I suspect that the wind may be uneven relative to your position on the lake. Looks like fun though.
Just watch out for those downwind cliff faces. It would be bad to combine kiteboarding, jumping and mountain climbing through uplift lofting!
Good winds,
Rick Iossi
