Hi guys, I've just finished my kiteboarding lessons and unfortunately is no more wind in Walvis Bay, the place where the wind was born and raised strong. Maybe is my imagination but this is the longest summer ever here , hot days , worm and calm evenings , romantic sunsets at the lagoon , what a disaster for a kiteboarder!!!! Winter ! Cold strong NW wind ! That's Paradise! I'll ride LF 09 Havoc kite and 141 Proof board, is anybody there using them? What is your thoughts about this setup for a beginner? Hope I'll learn a thing or two from you guys. Liviu

I'm living in Walvis Bay , Namibia , we ride in the lagoon at the end of the town. Wind is strong usualy at 20-30 knot , starts from around 1PM until late. February , March and beginning of April very low to no wind, rest of the year almoast every day.

I've just got my 12m Havoc 2009 but I have also 2005 Spectrums , can I use the new bar with the old kites? The old bar looks odd.

You can use a new bar with older kites. The bars designed for SLE kites have a huge throw. You don't need this for older c-kites but they will work just fine!
