You now have two possibilities to find the wind for your preferred spot: you can use the existing Wind Report maps or you can use our new Wind Reports on Google Maps. Of course all of our over 2800 weather stations are listed in there.
You can pan and zoom into your favorite location just like in every Google Map. Just drag the map or zoom in using the controls on the left hand side. You can also switch the view to map or satellite view using the controls on the right hand side.
As a special feature, we introduce the "Get Link" function, accessible with a button on the top left side. Click this button and you can copy the link to the current view to your clipboard. You may now pass this link to your friends via Mail or Instant Messenger to give them the current wind conditions on Google Maps. Example links might be the Tarifa area, Florida or the Carribbean - just as you defined before!
