Hi,
To north riders, which is a better setup.
2008 10m vegas + 2008 12m rhino.
2008 10m vegas + 2008 14m vegas.
I noticed that the low end on the 12m rhino is lower then the 14m vegas, is there any advantage of going with the 14 vegas over the rhino?
Any thoughts?

Both boost very differently. It will be hard to dial in if you have both designs. Really depends on your skill level and what your'e into. I'd go the vegas combo, or 14m 06 rhino and 08vegas.

I've been kitesurfing for the last 6ish years. Started on C's, been on hybrids for the last 3 years.
I would like to boost bigger, just pull the bar and head for the skies, no messing! work on some old school tricks...and ride fast too. I dont do unhooked. Id like lowish bar pressure and safety. i go out in all conditions, waves, chop, flat, whatever.
I was thinking id maybe give the rhinos a shot, ive read good things about hangtime and lowend but do they boost bigger then the vegas?

Toby is all about the big air and ballerina style dude and he rides the Vegas and I'm sure could ride Rhino's if he wanted. In my opinion a big C will rip you off the water way better and will have great hangtime too. The 08s were decently higher aspect than alot of new school kites so they are great jumpers.

I recently brought a 08 10M Rhino to replace my 07 10M SLE. The Rhino has way more power, jumps higher and hangs longer, but doesn’t handle and turn as fast as my SLE. It felt more like my 16M C. I can hold my 10M SLE well into the low 30 knot range but not the Rhino, I get overpowered at about 25. I was out one day with my two other friends in the bay blowing about 15 knots with slight chop, one was using a 14M 09 SLE and the other a 12M 08 BOW. They have to work their kites hard and I was flying by with the Rhino parked. They were amazed and we are about the same weight. I have never flown a Vegas so I can’t comment.

go with the manual
vegas=freestyle
rhino=speed,freeride
go for the rhino12m and vegas10m combo, that way you make a mix in between the 2 kites
i have flown the 3 kites and im sure that you will riping with them

...thanks for the replies, totally confused but some good points.
Have always been fairly set on getting a '08 vegas 10m but im thinking if i go with 12m rhino maybe i should keep all my kit the same and get 9m rhino too.
But at the same time im kind of leaning towards vegas being that bit faster and its a C-shape, ive never really ridden any other kites other than C, even my current hybrids are C-shaped.
