I don't really understand what's the big deal with plug-in electric cars. It's true that the car does not polute directly but the electricity has to be produced somehow. The powerplant polutes instead of you. Also, the transfer of energy from the power plant to the battery to the motor is not 100% efficient. Unless of course you have a mean to produce electricity without poluting.

Here's my sweet deal of a find. 1991 Ford Explorer 91,000 miles for $700 18mgp. Not impressed? Well then take into consideration that this is the parking spot for my new place. Long Empty beach on either side 10 mins away from a major US city.

well here is the ultimate car for going to the beach because runs 12 second quarter mile awd i have taken it on the beach all ready and the trunk is big enough to put my 136 syy pro in it
