...this site was a reason of my previous message:
phpBB/viewtopic.php?topic=209&forum=1&4

I got more comments also on:

...sorry to webmaster if advertising another forum:)

...but...I guess modification is relevant to all Black Tip sizes, not only to 12.2...or at least to big ones. Or I`m wrong? Some of my friends got 15.5...what about this...mmm?

Sure, everything above 13 sqm (in my opinion) needs modifications. If this also applies for the 2002 models I'm not sure!

On my 15.5 ARX I put battens at the tips and try to fly it with 20 m lines.

The battens will help a little, but the short lines make it real quick!

hi sage!....so many faces You have... or heads?:))

Toby...looks like our Neilpryde dealer will get mad when I`ll show them the list of all improvements )
I suppose next edition of Cabrinha will be well revised and there will be no place of discussions like this. thx again!

don't forget to tell him that almost all kites of 2001 needed an improvement (bigger sizes)!
As far as I have heard the new Cabrinha has all the improvements like the Naish AERO.
Adjustable tips, batten, new material.
But no bridle.
Whoever has 100% information please post!

you don't have to modify any of your kites. I saw my good friend Martin Vari kick all the top pros asses in Cabarette using stock kites. If you like fast kites then the 12.2 can be modified but the 9.4 really doesn't need it at all. The 2002 BT will be faster.

that's what I meant. all the smaller sizes are great in handling, but with bigger kites e.g. like my ARX 15.5 a modification is a good thing. My 11.5 is great, I wouldn't change a thing. Didn't try the 13.5 which supposedly has a great handling too.
I think the 9.4 will be great in handling too, but the bigger sizes would have better performance with a modification.
I don't know about the power you need for the Cabrinhas to turn it but the ARX in 15.5 is a hard baby, but with 20 m lines it I need less power to turn it.
