Size 7 or 8 Cabrinha SB IDS 2010

Hi Cabrinha riders, now I have Cabrinha IDS '09 kites in sizes 8 & 12, which are really good kites, just the 12 is too big for my weight (155lbs, 70kg). I would like to change them for 10 and 8 SB IDS 2010 or should I consider about size7? I am a bit sceptical about the turning speed of the 7, will be too fast kite? beside till now I had never any problem with overpower on 8.

i was riding 10 & 8 in 2009, and this year i chose those sizes again.
Im 85kg and 10m is big enough. I ride a bigger board so that helps.
The beauty of having an 8m is that the 8m can be ridden real early. It helps when deciding what kite size you are going to setup. The 8 is often a good choice.
In 10-7 or 10-6 quivers, choosing the right size can be really hard.
Having a 7 would extend your windrange/unhooked windrange.

Anyway the 2010 are really nice. They are said to be faster than '09. Not sure how much faster they are since i use a shorter bar. I do not necissarily want to call them much faster. But they do turn quicker once they are powered up and you give the bar a good twist. Thats nice.
The flow and calmness character, where the SB's are known for, are still present. So i wouldnt worry about the 7 being too fast.

Thanks "blacktip", you have 100% right, with my 8 SB '09 I had no problems with overpower, maybe twice or three times in season I wish to have something smaller, beside it has really good low end, I was impressed, but if I chose now 8 & 10, they will be very close, in case of 7 i will get extra hi end, but defenitelly will loose than the sweet low end of an 8.

think the range on the SB '09 and '10s are very similar with the 10s maybe having a touch better high end. So, if the 8 worked well for you, and you only missed 3 days...i would suggest going for the 8 and 10 again in '10

when you say 2010 has more high end then the 2009 - then you also mean 2010 has less low end then the 2009 i presume (?)
