I don't have anything to do with Naish, don't even ride them. But I do wonder what kind of answer it is you're looking for? I mean will you keep posting pictures for ever ? .......... that by the way look fine to me (the last ones). Maybe you should have do a sport with less fragile gear?

By the way, why do you keep buying them I wonder?

BTW, I know a few guys riding them. They ride a lot (!!!) and do hardcore freestyle. The just changed to 2010 gear and have their 2009s for sale. None of them have that repair.

Dude, you did post 1 (one) picture of a broken kite (whose leading edge looks pretty darn dusty) and a million pics of kites that aren't broken. What's your point? According to Naish website, the importer (i.e. Naish in you country) is the company below. Why don't you contact them and sort out your issue if there's any instead of posting your pointless ramble here?

PoNaish TORCH 2007,2008,2009 maybe 2010 have defect in manufacture.

After 60-90 days kiting will happen this : I like torch... I don´ like this....becouse I have this problems with torch every years.I kiting 9 year and never happened with X2,X3,X4,torch 2005.

I purchased in year 2007 torch 2007 8m,10m,12m,14m,16m komplet with double depower.
Iam from Czech Republic and in Czech is 2 guarantee .

After 80 kiting happened this Czech dealer/seller said it is manufacturing defect.He had gived new torch 2008 8m,10m,12m and said if this problems will have yours 14,16 reclamation and he gived you new.

Now I have same problem with torch 2008 8,10,10,12m ,2009 8,10,12m and czech seller said
in common use Naish torch has crepitate .It is not defect in manufacture it is normal things that has Naish torch.He said Naish torch has defect ordinarily kiting .He said all torch has defect it is from normal yoused.I can maked with nothing if I kiting.All torch Have this problem.I know....Torch is best...I like it....but this thing is problem big problem becouse when your kite blows out wheń you kiting you can die.

The Torch has been in the Naish line since 2005. It is considered one of the top freestyle and unhooked wave kites in the world. The Torch is the kite of choice for almost all of our International riders in prop competition.

Two of our best riders, Kevin Langeree and Reo Stevens, have been flying the Torch since it was first relaeased. Kevin will only use the Torch in freestyle contests, and Reo uses it exclusively for unhooked wave riding. These pro riders put more hours on their Torch kites, than most of us dream of.

No Naish R&D testers or international ream riders, including Kevin and Reo, had the leading edge fail as described in this post.

We have been notified of several cases where the Torch's LE did rip between the 2nd and 3rd strut. However, the numbers of LE failures are a very small percentage of the total Torch kites that have been sold worldwide. Furthermore, our warranty department has resolved every case that has been submitted to Naish International.

The Torch is designed to fly fast through the air, which requires a relatively small leading edge. We believe, when the Torch is under inflated, the LE can fold when the kite is flipped over for launch. If this happens repeatedly, the LE material can weaken over time. Regardless of the brand, the leading edge is always a high stress area on any kite. This area is more prone to failure from repeated abuse, such as crashing, etc.

With any kite, it is best to avoid folding an inflated leading edge because of the pressure it puts on the materials. While preparing for launch, have your partner be careful not to fold the leading edge when flipping the kite over.

The arc of the leading edge has been slightly modified on the 2010 Torch with an incresased continuous curve givining it a more constant power band. As a result, the potential of the leading edge folding by the 3rd strut is less likely to happen.

The Naish R/D team extensively tests the quality and durability of every product we make. We also put our kites in the hands of average riders and schools in order to monitor their long term durability. Naish is proud of the Torch's success and will continue to stand behind its performance and quality. If you haven't ridden the Torch, we hope yu get a chance to get out and ride one.

I think this is warranty issue Czech sailer said it is normal. I think this is defect in manufaction
