A quick poll....
How much do you spend on each board that you make? Not including reusable tooling (pump, table, etc) Please include type of material you are using. (fiberglass, composite, etc)
Thanks

Usually spend around $100.
1/4" birch double layered core, 1 layer 3.7 oz fiberglass top and bottom, 14 stainless inserts, ABS rails and paint.

why so many inserts? you building a snowboard or what.
ok well 6 per foot strap (so 3 positions/stances) + 2 for you're gojoe/grab handle... haha 14 just sounds like a lot i guess....
when i did my board i knew what my stance was so i just set it up with 4 inserts. but different options are nice i suppose...
and ya usually about $100 per board but depends on construction - more elaborate materials, more cost. and of course how ever much time you spend on it...
$100 + time
