Hi all,
I am thinking of combining a visit to NY city with a kiteboarding holiday, next year end of July.
Any suggestions ? Where to stay, rent gear, follow lessons.
Something like these guys :

The wind around NYC is typically on hiatus during the end of july. you might get a few windy days if you're lucky. but there is a good chance you may not get any wind during your stay.

Is there any wind at any time?? I've read elsewhere that it's pretty non-existent but if someone would like to correct me I'll be very happy (I may have to work there next year).

Find the NYCKitesurfers group on yahoo.
Whenever there is action we post there.
Been around the world a lot... NYC has some sick spots out on Long Island: flat water or ocean side.
Regarding July, we get some nice thermals if it's not too warm...
