There is a chance that I might work in Athens (Greece, not Georgia  for a while. Obviously, I would be keen to go kiting on weekends. So I would be very grateful if you could give me any input into kite spots near Athens.
Cheers
Nico

Thank you for your advice!
Does the Meltemi work at these spots, too in the summer, or is it only found on the islands?

Thanks for the advice.
On the Greek kiteboarding association page, I found two more spots:
-Loutsa and
-Schininas

Are these also good spots?
Cheers

Dude, you are going to be surrounded by islands and the Medditerannian sea. You are gonna have more kitesurfing places than you'll know what to do with!

Nico,
I spent my summers windsurfing in Greece. Schinias is a beautiful spot but it is side-off winds. @ 20 min. south of Schinias is a side shore spot that you'll have to follow the coastline to find and I dont know the name, maybe just near the town of Marathonas.

The Meltemi is best in June, July, and August with late-July and August cranking big time. I suggest going to Loutsa near Athens for side-shore and if time permits chase wind in Cyclades island chain. 25 - 35kts. is not uncommon near the islands.

Danny
