Postby Pinch » Mon Feb 15, 2010 10:13 am

“RUSSIAN WAVE 2010”
On February 20-27 the Egyptian most picturesque beach at Soma Bay will hold the Russian Wave festival with the total prize bounty of $20 thousand.
Within the festival competition in windsurfing, kiteboarding, wakeboarding and wakesurfing will be held. The strongest Russian professional riders along with the amateurs are to participate in the competitions.
Windsurfing will be held in the disciplines of freestyle and slalom. Too the local riders are anxious to get the possibility to compete with European riders, whose participation might be possible.
In kiteboarding the competitions within the Festival are to become the 1st lap of the Russian championship. Thus all the leading riders have confirmed participation. Strongest Russian rider Petr Tyushkevitch will be one of the judges. The lap will already be held by the new rules, which will make the event a much more exciting show.
Too the festival will hold the competitions in wakeboarding and wakesurfing – ever exciting and spectaculous.
The Festival Russian Wave is inviting both sportsmen and those loving extreme watersports to enjoy a week so as to remember it for at least a year to follow.

No wind in Egypt I'm afraid.

Hamata has the name to be the best spot in the winter in Egypte, Is there any wind @ the moment?
