That blank you used as base to reduce the rocker distortion during curing seems to have a big convex on top. Did that not screw you around and give you a too big a concave on your boards bottom deck once cured ?
Regards
Nico

Hola Nico

the blank was only a support so the blank would not snap under the weight. did not screw my concave.
Thnx

Hi Che,
Wow, that is a nice board you built!
Could you explain a little the procedure - how did you make such a nice carbon clear look? Also the perfect edge, where two carbon fabrics meet is a great mistery to me.
Thank you!
Jaros

Hola Jaros

Thanks!

The procedure is kinda the same as Glassing a tinted &/or a pigmented board. first lay up the bottom glass, sand laps, tape off bottom were u are going to cut the cloth. lay up the deck glass wait till resin kicks and flip it to cut the lap and pray the fibers on the carbon meet up.
Ché
