Been trying out the 10m Key and using it for some lessons, its a solid kite.

At first i did love the kite, but after a couple sessions i am starting to have some questions. I had it out in wind that was a little gusty, but not unmanageble, and blowing around 15mph gusting to 22. I found that in the lulls the kite would backstall fairly easily and i would come to a dead stop. Has anyone else had this problem or were the condition a bigger factor than i'm making it? After i was done i put up a 09 Switchblade 10m and had no problems, and i was ridding a much smaller board with the switchblade.

Great videos.
The first one is really helpful. Having the first person view gives a really good idea of turning speed, window position, sheeting, etc.
Why don't more companies put up vids like this?
The kite looks nice. Thanks

sounds like you "choking the kite,"
and it's best to avoid this, even with kites that resist stalling....

_SS make one of the best C-shape kite ever with the Fuel.
_ RPM is probably the best kite in it's class.
_Octane is super versatile and owns it's categorie.

No doubt bro!

I am just talking about what i heard. Seems to me many people has a problem with Octane in only one size -7(very similar to Link by description). Now about Key 10, my T3 11 never had any problem with any lulls (except vacuum). I am not talking about the whole line up.
And YES FUEL IS DA BEST KITE EVER !

I don't want to sound like i was bashing the Key, its a quick solid kite that is close to the speed of a rev but with the power of the old turbos, but just on this day i seemed to have problems riding and was asking to see if it was just the conditions or if maybe the kite worked better trimed another way besides the basic. i have a few lessons today so i'll probably be out there again to see if it it happens.

Just don't want this to turn into a SS bashing thread, They make great kites.

Will be receiving KEYS for my kiteschool shortly and will let you know if I get the same problem. In the mean time keep us posted with any necessary triming
