How is the flex with the 12/18 glass? Building a 1/4 strip poplar core board with epoxi rails. Bull nose 50/50 rails not wraped? Thinking more flex if you don't wrap them together.

THANK YOU ! BALSA WOOD IS FRAGILE ( I DO NOT RECOMED USE THIS WOOD FOR HEVY RIDERS + 70KG ) THE DECK SHAPE IS CONVEX SO THIS GIVES MORE STRANGE TO THE BOARD , THIS BOARD IS EASY TO RIDE AND GOOD FLEX.

FOR FINS I DID A SILICON MOLD

LAY UP : GLUE WITH 3M SPAY 2 SHEET OF GLASS AND CUT THE EXACT SHAPE OF THE FIN , PUT 2 OF THIS INTO THE SILICON MOLD , ONE ON EACH FACE OF THE MOLD FILL WITH EPOXY , PUT ATENTION WITH THE AIR BUBLES, USE A WIRE O SOME THING SIMILAR, USE TH YOUTUBE VIDEO : "making the red fin" IS SIMILAR TO THIS VIDEO

THNAK YOU

the board is cedar core 11mm in the center and about 3 mm on tips , epoxi rails , only one 6 oz layer of glass on each face , and then vaccum bag . The board is as it comes out of the bag , I like the texture of the glass and it makes it less slipery to handle in the water.
30mm rocker and 6mm concave.... I'm happy with the results .. Just need to get better material for graphics.
Thanks for your coments ! your board also looks great ... also the foot pads!!
keep posting pictures!!!
