Hmm, do you laminate and then clamp right after when everything is still wet? Will it not wrinkle up the glass from the bending as the distance of the length is less when bent? Will you not leave imprints in the glass/resin from the clamps?
If you are not careful.....Yes.
a bit of care and some planning will go a long way to eliminate any real problems.
a vacuum bag
or a similar method to distribute the minimal amount of force needed to bend in your rocker....
plastic sheet, duck tape, water bags, some padding, some cardboard.... lots of stuff will work.
the glass is suppose to be smooth on your core where ever you clamp it.
if it bulges at the perimeter of your clamping area, it likely means you are using too much clamping force (OR too little clamping area) or you have allowed the cloth to lift in other areas near by.
laying a piece of polyethylene ( or saran wrap) over the lam will allow you to smooth out any exposed area after the board has been clamped to the rocker table.
it also leaves a very nice finish that needs little sanding.
did i mention a vacuum bag?
it's not so hard.
try a small test sample from begining to end.
after living through your particular screw-up there will be an easy fix.
