EPIC kites had an amazing turn out at the AWSI Surf Expo in the Gorge, Oregon. Even with the lack of wind we did very good, people were very impressed with the graphics and the construction of the kites.
This is the SCREAMER 2011 video. The 2011 web site will be up and running in a week.

great vids guys. Gets me pumped on the 2011 gear. I do have to agree with the earlier poster. I've developed a relationship with both Terrie and Dimitri who have been nothing but helpful over the past year. Terrie will call now and again just to check and see if I need anything. There have been some bashing comments on these threads, but I look at it as sharing the stoke about gear that you like, and a spot to trade and ask questions on that gear. I've been using the Renegades for my personal riding and for teaching and was so happy with them, that I got to test the 2011 Renegade and offer feedback! You don't get that with many other brands I'm sure. The 2011 has everything I loved about the 2010's the crazy stability, the ease of use, the super easy relaunch and the fun factor, and they improved on it by reducing the bar pressure, giving it better upwind ability, bigger range and better low end. I can easily ride this 2011 11 meter when others my size (145 lbs, 15 knots) are on larger kites. Another thing I noticed was the kite speed. This 11 meter flys like a 9 meter. So much so that I had to call and ask if it was really an 11 meter! Students have bought this kite for these reasons. It makes them feel less intimidated than on other gear. I even had a kid approach me in the water while teaching asking about the kite and that he wanted one. I was kinds buys, but managed to trade contact info....
I can't wait to start hearing some session reports on the 2011 kites. I can't wait to get em...

Now that is an awesome and very creative video. Like the jump at the 2 minute mark. One handed no doubt. Just saw it on facebook also.

BTW..what camera and the conditions looked really smooth. 11m or 9m Renegade and how strong were the winds? 15-20?

I agree, that video made me laugh and was fun.

Can you mount that cam and talk us through all the rest of your moves? :D

Great video! :thumb:
How you manage to kite in waves, jump and talk to a camera in your hand the whole time is beyond me. I have a hard enough time just staying on my board and trying to catch the next wave. lol

Well the answer is very easy "Chungmu".
Once you fly an EPIC kite you won't have any problems staying on your board. :D

The pricing info is not there and the sites of the distributors are not anywhere as useful as the epic site.
