NPX another wetsuit gives me a one year of use

Loved my 654 npx zealot suit until this year i noticed that the seams in some spots are tearing away from eachother????????? what is with wetsuits these days can i find one that i can use for more than a year. Just wanted to know if anyone has had this problem. Can't be buying a new suit every freaking year!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yep, they don't make em like they did before, that's for sure.
Nice and soft but fall apart in a couple of years

Back in the day a suit would get a little stiff after a couple of years but could go for a longer time for sure.
Also, it's lame most Co's are too cheap now to go with the smooth skin as much as before, now most are mainly covered in that jersey crap that falls apart, and doesn't keep you as warm, no matter the hype.
Waaaa. Ok got that out of my system.

This happened to me after 3 months.

I got a brand new NPX zealot under warranty :allbegood:

hey do you have the number to contact someone from npx so i can try and warranty this. I bought the suit from someone in chicago it was online someone who had contacted me from the forum. I want to get this suit warrantied unreal that a 350 suit goes in less then a year!!!!!!!!! thx for the replies guys.

Pool , Try sent repair to resew on seam then it will be ok

I bought it in a kiteshop and the shopowner took care off everything, as it should be. :thumb:

I think the super stretch suits are more stressful on seams, so it's a little expected to have separations. The taped and glued suits are best. It's always a good idea to have some neoprene cement handy and tackle the seams as soon as they start to open. Unfortunatley nothing is indestructible or permanent, and there are tradef-offs for the super stretchy neoprene. Recently I pulled out an old Promotion 5/4 steamer suit (almost 20 years old) and it looks pretty good, but it has shrunk so much and is so stiff I would never get it on. Now with the super stretch I'll be happy to get 3 years out of them.
