Some new pics of the new kite?
Nope. The Caution factory gnomes are still feverishly working away stencilling flames onto the canopy cloth and no kites have actually made it to the beach anywhere in the world just yet.

This is the closest you're going to get for now http://www.cautionkites.com/news/archives/1

So is this the definite shape? This looks very promising and indeed like a cross-over between the Zombie and the Mayhem-X and would be awesome. This shape is a bit hybrid like and looks like it would be perfect for me as I like waveriding and also unhooked freestyle stuff. De Mayhem X was great for this although unhooked kiteloops were a bit too thight.

But here http://www.cautionkites.com/news/archives/1 it looks like a lower aspect ratio...

Which is it going to be?

Thanks for posting some more info about the colours. Always nice to see. However the shape/profile of a kite is what really interests me. Some Santa Cruz boys that can verify that the kite shown in the kiteboarder mag pic is the shape it is going to be?

A while I am at it:
How is it unhooked? Where does it sit in the wind window? How does it pop & slack after pop. I have read more turning around the wingtip C-ish like. Sounds good any video footage?

Dwarf,

Yes this is the kite, both the spec sheet and the proto pic (black/Orange/White) are the same kite. I have flown the 7M proto (pictured above) and it is incredible. The kite shoots across the window very smooth and sets up for the wave perfect. I have not ridden unhooked, but the zombie unhooked well, and this kite is built more around the zombie than the MX.

The kite has a lighter bar pressure, but enough to know where the kite is in the window always. It is faster and more stable as well, just all around smooth as can be.

You can expect the Spitfires to be available 1st of the year.

I have a 2009 Zombie and it's a great kite. And also here in Argentina we are waiting for it to arrive to test it.

Kites are boxed up and being shipped as we speak. Just has to get through customs and we are in business.

As far as revealing the kite, see above...nothing has changed. Real pics of the kites in action to follow. If you want to see some of it, check out Sander's Vid on www.cautionkites.com

2011 kites are coming out for 2011...not half way through 2010 like the mainstream! Time to have the years kites come out at the right time!
