Please check if your quick release has a knot which doesn't belong there.
It happend at only a few bars.

Pull up the neporen cover ath the quick release of the chicken loop, pull the release and you might see a knot coming out of the tube. Remove the knot by opening it and put your quick release back together.

The QR will work with the knot, but it is harder to open it so you need more power.
Without knot it is easier to open it.

And the knot can slide up under usage causing the loop to open by accident. This can be dangerous if you are in the air so it is a MUST to check this on your bar.

Of course: two of my three bars (the first did not have the quick release) had the knot in the line. After removing it, releasing is way way easier!

Somehow too easy? How could that knot make an unwanted release possible? It was much harder to release the QR with it...

How can it release:

When the knot tightens on a new line it might slide up a tiny bit, preventing the loop to get all the way in to the tubing and lock.

Normally, the more pressure, the better lock but with the knot it does not happen.

The unwanted release has happend already and people have lost kites.
