The Mar Menor near Murcia, Southeast Spain is a great spot... used to live near there. It's also known as "La Manga del Mar Menor" or "Isla del Ciervo". This is the current forecast: http://www.windguru.cz/int/index.php?sc=48829. (In Windguru the spot is called Los Nietos.) It's a landlocked saltwater lagoon and you can kite in any wind direction. It\s also cheap because of the crisis in Spain - especially renting a room/apartment.

Let me know if you need more info!

Prasonisi in Rhodes, Greece, where I live, has a flat side and a wave side some 150 m apart (you can walk from one to the other without landing the kite... :o ). Wind is really constant in the summer. Rescue available at a fee for the off shore flat side by the windsurf/kite stations. Cheaper than most places esp. mow that the crisis is on. No swimmers really (most of them have already been killed by kiters  ). Sand everywhere, very safe to be dragged from the wave side to the flat side by a looping out of control kite  . Come and visit! :thumb:
