No Snow on the Tug but plenty of snow north of Tug

Postby tikayak » Sun Dec 05, 2010 11:45 pm

After going up on the Tug Saturday and very little new snow. Sunday we found plenty north of the Tug out side of Evans Mills on a very nice farmers field. We where kiting in about a foot and a Half of snow on a large rolling farmers field with the hill facing the prevailing winds out of the south south east. Great to ski in powder again. :D

Ya snobdr, that was pure luck that Jan scored that spot! Glad he did though. 8) This coming weekend should be even better, it's supposed to have good chance of snow most days, and stay cold. Just gotta get some wind! I do think the wind was maybe WNW, coming across the road like it was.

I might try to come up with SnobDr this coming weekend as well. We shall just have to see how things play out. Please keep us posted on conditions. Would love to make the trip, but definitely want to make sure conditions are worth it...
