does anyone of you do extreme snowkiting?
I mean go up hills and back with big hangtimes?
Is there anywhere a video available to download in the net or short sequences?

ok, just saw a video and it looks really cool.
have to try it one day!
the greatest thing is that now you can jump without being scared about the landing, since it brings you down nice and smooth!
I remember from snowboarding only how hard the landings were, if there wasn't enough snow!!!

well - you use a kite for jumping & landing.
so landing is like surfing.
but more dangerous - if you go big and don't get a good landing, it'll hurt.

This Norwegian Kite site has some good video clips (hi speed, amacing jumps):
http://www.kite.no
The site is in norwegian, look at "BILDE/VIDEO" and the videoclip "Bergsjø Action" and "Småroi".
(I have the files on my computer, but they
are 8 & 23 MBytes in size)
It's have been som problems with the webserver the last time... if it's not available, try again in a week !
Good luck!

Hey Jan,

It just looks coooool!
For you in Norway it must be perfect going out with kites in snow.
Thanks
