The Tobe-meister is into geometry. Y'know, straight lines, parallelism, near right angles and the like. Just because some folks like the "wet noodle in a blender" style of tricks as opposed to the "bamboo of geometry" style, ain't no reason to get down on one or the other. Both exist. Both contribute. We need the extremes to define the middle.

I really start wondering what this oldschool thing is about. I always thought it was about getting really high and throw a boardoff but when watching Toby's pictures and videos he doesn't seem to get higher than any random pro throwing double handlepasses!

Yeah, but he is stable in the air and holds a form long enough to see what it is. He's not frenetically twisting and turning trying to mask the fact that he can't really stabilize while in the air....
