The windsurfer is a top pro using a top slalom board, but wasn't using a race sail, so the contest as to who is best round a race course may depend a lot on the conditions.

some people are just fast and competitive regardless what they ride KP is one of those guys. I think kite racing is still newish and the level of riders will be better as more people get into it. Still very impressed that kites hold the overall world speed record for sailing craft on water.
