A great place to stay in Mui Ne

Postby BrianMaiden » Fri Jan 21, 2011 5:42 pm

Just returned from a great 3 week holiday in Vietnam with my girlfriend. I have never really recommended or even given a review of anywhere i've ever stayed but our experience of Mellow Bungalows in Mui Ne was worthy of praise.

The owners - Paul and his wife and all the staff made our stay extremely welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them. You would be hard pushed to find better accommodation for the money you pay. The rooms are simple, clean and the location is cental. Ok, it isn't right on the beach and there isn't a pool but , like i say, for the money i just don't think you will do better.

How much was it?

I was paying 35 bucks a day peak season for a pool and a room on the water with breakfast for two included. Oh yeah, AC and pretty good selection of international cable TV.

We paid a lot less than that but also we specifically didn't want A/C or TV. we wanted somewhere really basic. Guess it depends what you're after. Where did you stay for that price?

Being cagey eh?

I stayed at the Tien Dat resort which was just about 50 meters up the road from Jibes if memory serves correctly, next to the windsurf hotel.

I am a hell of a negotiator - I learned from the best.... Indians.
