http://www.windfinder.com/forecast/kanyakumari
That's the best forecast I've ever seen on windfinder. But this being India, I refuse to believe there is good strong consistent wind, even at the confluence of 3 oceans.
Anyone ever been there? Apparently the water is dangerous because of waves (less so parasites). Not sure if that is just because of Indian's general lack of local swimming ability.
It's a cheap two hour flight there from Mumbai. I could be there in before lunch. Hmmmm...

looks very nice!
why shouldn't it be true?
And since it is listed on windfinder...there must be some interest in wind there...

I haven't been but i know that Sri Lanka gets strong wind thru out the year and its placed very close to Kanyakumari
It creates a funnel effect for the south westeries from may - october but unsure if it works as well for the north easters
Here's what the wind is doing on the Sri Lankan side
