Skyline Snowpack is deep

Postby Windzup » Tue Mar 01, 2011 5:38 am

We've been enjoying the deep snow at Skyline. Snowbanks are at an all time high. Deep and creamy today, as we followed Chasta around the mountain from early morning to sunset.

The Snowkite Masters Gathering is this weekend, and its looking good as far as base conditions. Her are some images from today.

That is a 2012 color scheme for the Frenzy. Chasta has the new colors for a photo shoot here in the States.

Same Frenzy kite as 2011 model, as Ozone continues with the '2 year' cycle on Snowkites.

Rumor is the Manta will disappear in 2012, as the Frenzy performance and sales have been so successful. On that note, if you want to score an M3 before they discontinue, drop WIndzup a line. The Manta is the last open-cell foil from Ozone, and offers the last of the large 15m guns. I just picked up a full set of 2011 M3's for myself. The kites shipping this season have the new Orbit pulley in the bridle and the newest bars.

Thanks for your info Brian.
I would be sad to see the end of Manta "line". Might be a good reason thou to upgrade from M2 to M3 before they are all gone as you mentioned........
I have only knowledge to 10m and 15m manta M2. What I like most about the 15 is light wind cruising and gliding abilities. 10 m is nice as it does not generate a lot of power until you get it up to speed.
