Hy
I'm very happy with my slingshot drake 147. I'm looking for a board with the same way of ride (wake style, easy upwind, easy jumping), for lighter wind. Jarvis 157 is not big enough. LiteWave 169 is a good choice ? I'm 70kg

the question is if you really need a bigger board?
Did you try a bigger board when you had lighter winds and did it work good?

I have a Slingshot Drake too. 70kg. Biggest kite: Wipika AB11.8 2002.

When I do not have enough wind to go upwind, I use a Wipika Olry 186. It makes a hell of a difference. When taking the big Olry I blast full power upwind!

So depends very much which kite your biggest kite is. When it's a 11.8=16m like mine it will complement your Drake.

For light winds, I use a 147 x 41.5 custom with a flat rocker line.
This really lets me go upwind early. My impression is that you have to look at the surface area of the board, the rocker line and the outline. I am not convinced that a board has to be long to plane early!
