Beginner Course/Vacation for Solo Traveler in April?

Postby MontrealJosh » Fri Mar 04, 2011 5:26 pm

What's a good destination for a solo traveler to spend a couple weeks learning to ride? I took a course in Puerto Plata, DR last year but I'd like to do another beginner course.

I'm looking for

MUSTS:
- Warm water (no wetsuit)
- Relatively close: Ideally Latin America, Caribbean and maybe Europe, North Africa
- Nearby city, town with activities and possible excursions to keep things fresh

PREFERENCES:
- Flat, clear water
- Good kitesurfing lessons/courses
- Decent to Nice accommodations (i.e. not a hostel or backpackers hammock)
- Surfing possibilities for non-windy days

Basically since I'll be alone I'd like to be an area where it's easy to meet people and there's other excursions or activities I can do. I also have my own gear, though I don't really know how to use it:)

Suggestions, interested parties, let me know:)
