Ran through the same crap, blew a good vacation on a new kite kept blowing valves swimming it home and fixing it. .
Called the company and asked the equivalent of yo new kite WTF? in a polite manner, and was told it was a known mfg problem. So I then asked since your bladders are in Germany what can we do to salvage my vacation and I was bitched out by the person on the phone, asked the rhetorical question that "what did I want her to do". To which I promptly replied. Well since this is North's fault not mine or the shop, there's a number of things you could do, Like credit the local North dealer for the cost of a kite and let me pick out a new one, seeing as the last kite didn't even get pumped up.
If someone just bought a new car and the thing crapped out on their way home and I couldn't get the parts to fix it for a few months bet your ass I'd have them in a new car. But let's face it few kite mfg's actually go the extra mile.
Anyway local dealer was awesome patched up my kite and got me on a demo (Naish) when we could no longer patch any more.
I am still busy with this crap as from yesterday. I ordered and received for about 150 euros including 10% discount 5 struts + 8 different valves for a small kite North Vegas 2007 7m, the thing is these North valves look the same as the broken ones, but maybe different material. Just like the material airtime orange bladders are made of, it looks and feels a bit like plastic maybe it is plastic but I read that they suppose to be stronger they are lighter and you can fit them more easier in the kite. The thing is this 2 pump system goes more inside then outside like all the other 1 and 2 pump systems. With these seperate connectors you can simulate more the best way possible the outside system without putting the whole kite apart. The valves stick very good, just like normal patches.
